LHF in 2012 en verder:
• Planning en voorbereiding bouw derde fase Lion
Heart Medical Centre (LHMC) in Yele
• Oplevering verpleegafdelingen, diagnostische ruimte
en hospitaal keuken LHMC
• Opleiding lokaal medisch personeel LHMC
• Oplevering waterkrachtcentrale Yele en leveren van
elektriciteit aan de afnemers
• Vervanging drinkwaterleidingnet, oplevering
waterzuiveringsbedrijf Yele en overdracht aan het
overheidsbedrijf Sierra Leone Water Company
• Verhogen productie palmoliefabriek en aanvoer
palmfruit
• Continueren schoolfonds in Yele
• Ondersteuning bouw bedrijvenbazaar en koelhuis

• Building and putting into use of the frst industrial
palm oil factory in Sierra Leone in Yele
• Long term support for the junior secondary school in
Yele including the renovation of the school building
and boarding house and expansion of the school fund
• Phased building of the Lion Heart Medical Centre in
Yele: completion of the out-patients’ department in
2011, start of second building phase
• Renovation of the war destroyed hydro-electric
power plant
• Construction of the electricity network, street lighting,
connection of homes and businesses in Yele to the grid
• Repair of the water purifcation plant in Yele, as a
result of which clean drinking water on tap will be
available to the villagers.
LHF in 2012 and beyond:
• Planning and preparation for building phase 3 of the
Lion Heart Medical Centre (LHMC) in Yele
• Completion of various wards, diagnostic spaces and
hospital kitchen of the LHMC
• Training of local medical personnel for the LHMC
• Completion of the hydro-electric power plant ,
delivering power to the users in Yele
• Replacement of the water supply system in Yele, setting
to work of the water purifcation plant and hand over
of waterworks to the public utility company Sierra
Leone Water Company (SAWACO)
• Increase delivery of palm fruit and productivity of
palm oil mill
• Continuation of the school fund in Yele
• Support the building of a new business
accommodation and cold store by eLuma (former
Project Yele, Delft University of Technology)
